Hello,
This might be a simple fix but we haven’t found a way to render our logo in retina. The crop step is impossible to skip and makes our logo fairly pixelised on macbook pro screens… any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks a lot!

Hi @pilgrimteam,
This is standard design with our theme, I’m afraid.
As this is not breaking the website, changing this is considered customization work. Unfortunately, this is a service that we do not provide.
We only share snippet only to solve issues with our theme. Any further request for CSS snippets will have to be part of a defect that needs to be fixed urgently. No snippets will be shared otherwise.
If you want to go further with the customization of your website, we advise that you hire a freelancer to do it for you.
If you’re on a tight budget, we recommend you to require the services from Envato Studio freelancers (https://studio.envato.com/explore/websites-programming). This web platform gives you access to developers who have already experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.

If you’re willing to give this a try yourself, you can use the following filter to replace the default theme logo with your own custom SVG logo:
grimlock_site_identity_args
. That should solve your issue but as mentioned @themodactyl, sharing a snippet to make this work for you is considered customization. For more about WordPress filters, please read the following post:

Thanks @themosaurusrex!
I’ll see if this is worth the trouble ?
Interesting to know the header isn’t retina-ready, I don’t think it will be a problem for our client but it’s worth mentioning for other themosaurus clients and potential clients, since it’s become quite a standard for wp themes. Anyway, not an issue on my side and I appreciate the extra help to try and solve my issue! ✌️Cheers, and may you have a great weekend! ☀️

Hi @pilgrimteam,
Thank you for your feedback. 🙂
Here you are an interesting article explaining how to add an svg in the media gallery with a simple plugin: https://wpengine.com/resources/enable-svg-wordpress/. Thanks to this plugin, you’ll be able to add a svg logo in your website.
Cheers,
