I want to display Full name and username on each profile-pages.
But in my case will be shown the username twice.
What is the difference between full name und username?
Here is a screenshot of my register-page.
There are two fields with username (Benutzername).
Is that correct? I think it is a bit confusing for the user.
How can I fix that correctly?

To understand the difference, here is an exemple : In your case, your username is @creation and your full name is Werner. 🙂

The first “benutzername” is indeed the username.
The second “benutzername” is actually the name. I suggest that you choose another name for this second field to avoid this confusion.
The name of this second field can be changed in the BuddyPress settings. 🙂

In my settings this field is marked as Primary and mandatory and I cannot set the privacy settings to “visible for all”, “only for me” ecc.
I don’t think every user wants to set his real name as mandatory
I want to show Username AND Full name
If I change the option in customizer->buddypress

Shold I delete the second field “username” and add a new optional Field for “Full name”

As I understand it, your issue is that you have two username. As I just explain you above, the second “benutzername” should be the name. I invite you to go to User > Profile fields and replace this field by the name.
To set the settings of this label (from mandatory to optional), I suggest you to contact the plugin support. As this is a standard behavior with BuddyPress, it is best to try to contact the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you.

I activated show Username AND Full Name in my Buddypress Settings.
But on the profiles where is shown the username twice and not the Full Name.
But the name is set correctly (see screenshot)
