Hi @guesswho24,
You can edit the display of the BuddyPress icons displayed in your navigation by going to your Customizer. You can access these theme options in your dashboard by navigating to “Appearance > Customize > BuddyPress” and then open the “General” tab.
There, you will be able to control the display of your icons.This should solve your issue.

for some reason I dont have buddy press there. Anywhere else I can go to edit it?

It seems that you have an old version of Gwangi. The tab “Community” is now called “BuddyPress”.
The current version of Gwangi parent theme is 1.1.5 and the current version of Sensual child theme is 1.1.3.Updating your theme and all the required plugins to the latest version should fix this.
To update your parent theme, you can download and install the Envato Market plugin (https://envato.com/market-plugin/) on your WordPress site.
Once the plugin is installed and activated, go to “Envato Market” in your admin menu and follow the instructions under “Activate Envato API Connection”.
When this is done, you will see your purchased themes under the “Themes” tab and you should be able to update your Gwangi theme from there by clicking the “Update available” button.Child themes have WordPress automatic updates.
