I want to remove registration username and replace with the full name instead. How can username field be auto-populated with the users “name” field, so that user does not need to fill out a username, and only needs to provide a “name”?

However, please bear in mind that these plugins are not yet supported by Gwangi. You might need to add extra CSS code to make them perfectly work with your theme.
Furthermore, please note that this issue is related with the customization of BuddyPress, not with the use of Gwangi. As theme authors, the installation, setting or debugging of third party plugins isn’t part of the support we will provide for our theme (Gwangi) and our plugins (Grimlock suite).

Thanks. Tried both plugins but do not work. First one is completely broken. Second causes error messages.
Will resort to using usernames… even though it makes no sense for our directory purpose.

If not completely removing the username, can the Name and Last Name fields be displayed on member tiles instead of using the username, or if not instead of, in addition too, so username is displayed underneath perhaps?
