I am planning to introduce a page which contains information of the popular wedding planners, popular catering, popular wedding gifts and so on to promote the local market, is it possible to do this with gwangi? Need help to setup if possible.

Gwangi supports WooCommerce (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/). You can install and activate this plugin, and follow the setup wizard to start your online shop.
For a better integration, it’s recommended to use also Grimlock for WooCommerce. When WooCommerce will be activated, you will see an invitation to download also this free add-on from your dashboard.
Once all set, you can start creating your products, which will be displayed on your selected shop page.

Actually I am not selling products but need to create yellow pages kind of business directory related to wedding, where people can find the right contact for the event.

You can choose to still use WooCommerce and display unbuyable products with WooCommerce Catalog Mode (https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-woocommerce-catalog-mode/) as WooCommerce is supported by Gwangi.
Another solution is to use a directory plugin. The following post list some of the best existing options for WordPress:
