Found this plugin useful.
Some time ago, I asked how to apply a first and last name fields which syncs to WP.
Without solution, I just used an additional x profile text field.
This plugin does the job properly and actually syncs with WP users ‘name’ field.
Plus, on users favicon, it will add last name, unlike only using first name as your theme currently does.
Little things, but noticeable to savy end users.
And it forces it to be mandatory.

Are the new synchronized fields displayed nicely on the user profile ? Could maybe share some screenshots of your website? Doing so, we’ll see how this plugin is currently supported by our theme.

Recommend that it forms part of the installation package of plugins… as I’m sure that most ‘communities’ follow suit with the Facebook way of having genuine names of users, rather than being anonymous – such as forums pertain.
