    The checkboxes disappeared (and the spacing/lines changed,) in my homepage search so I had to change:

    .custom-control-input {
    position: absolute;
    z-index: -1;
    opacity: 0;
    }

    in Gwangi Youth CSS file, to:

    .custom-control-input {
    position: absolute;
    z-index: -1;
    opacity: 1;
    }

    Now they have returned but instead of all being on the same line with the correct 4px spacing, they are on different lines and the spacing has been messed up, and boxes appear at the top rather than in the middle of the line also.

    I can’t figure out what has changed, since e.g. the opacity was always 0 but the checkboxes were fine?

    Please help to adjust them back to how they were.

    BTW there is also CSS styling in “Additional CSS” for this search section (e.g. line spacing), for use with Revolution Slider. Thanks!

    Hi @virtualdating,

    Thank you for your quick reply.
    Do you have, by any chance, a screenshot of your search form before the theme update that you could share with? Furthermore, could please tell from which version did you update from and if you’re correctly running Gwangi 1.1.8?

    With this information, we will be able investigate further and find from where this update issue is coming from.

    Finally, Please also be informed that our support forum will be closed during on December 31st, 2018 and January 1st, 2019.

    We will be back to you ASAP.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Regards,

    Hi, happy new year!

    Sorry, I don’t have a screenshot. Right now tho, as you can see on a desktop it is on different lines – so I’ve had to adjust the spacing to 20 px so that the text isn’t overlapping the boxes. However, on a mobile it’s all on the same line (as it should be) and instead of the text being right next to the box (i.e. a 4px space) it’s now a huge 20 px space.

    The desktop used to be like how it displays on an iPhone – except with 4px spacing instead of 20 px, that I’ve had to change in “Additional CSS”.

    Also the boxes are higher than the text, obviously it all needs to be centered in the middle of the line.

    I think I’m running Gwangi 1.1.7 – I just updated Gwangi Youth since it came up in updates. Gwangi main theme isn’t showing any updates?

    Hi @virtualdating,

    Thank you and happy new year to you as well 🙂

    The latest version of Gwangi is 1.1.8. If you update only Gwangi Youth, and not Gwangi, that could lead to compatibility issues between them. Please note that while we provide an easy way to update the child themes directly (like Gwangi Youth), the main theme (Gwangi) has to be updated through themeforest, which is probably why you don’t see any update. So to update Gwangi here is what you need to do:

    To update your theme, you can download and install the Envato Market plugin (https://envato.com/market-plugin/) on your WordPress site.

    Once the plugin is installed and activated, go to “Envato Market” in your admin menu and follow the instructions under “Activate Envato API Connection”.

    When this is done, you will see your purchased themes under the “Themes” tab and you should be able to update your Gwangi theme from there by clicking the “Update available” button.

    Also, please make sure to update all of our Grimlock plugins to their latest versions.

    After taking a look at your website, it seems like you might be using some kind of optimisation plugin that merges the CSS in one file. If that is the case, it could also lead to some styling issue.

    Finally please note that as the form is being displayed in revolution slider with parallax, this could also lead to some styling issue because of the slider styles.

    Please let me know what happens after you updated the theme and plugins.

    If you need further assistance, could you please send me your credentials again, as I unfortunately don’t have them anymore? Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Best regards,
