Up::0Hi there. I am attempting to use Cera to build an employee portal for my company. The ability to request time off is a necessity for us. The plugin that we’ve been using for this for years – DP Pro Event Calendar – is no longer updated. I tried to use it anyway but the shortcode doesn’t display the calendar the way it’s supposed to.
The issue of PTO calendars is one we’ve been scrambling to solve for months. Can you please help us to set up our existing calendar or suggest a plugin that has PTO request / approval / denial capabilities?
Thank you so much!

Hi Molly,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
I’m afraid this plugin is not compatible with our theme. However, it would be very nice to implement the compatibility. Please note that I took the liberty to move this topic to our Feature Requests forum. As your idea could be a nice addition to our theme, we will implement this feature if other community members upvote your request.
In our demo, we use The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro to manage a calendar. This plugin can be combined with an add-on providing features specific to community websites: User-Submitted Events for WordPress.
This add-on will allow users to create their own events and share them on your website. You might use it to allow users to post events as their time off. However, you might need some custom development to hide unnecessary field such as location or hours. For more, you can always ask directly to the plugin authors or visit their website. They will be more informed and better suited to help you: The Events Calendar support.
Best regards,
