Hi @brendan,
Are you referring to the search form displayed in the modal window when the directory search button is clicked?
We use BP Profile Search (https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-profile-search/) to showcase the profile search feature on our demos.
You can edit the directory search form by visiting “Users > Profile Search” in your dashboard, where you will find every existing profile search forms.
Just edit your forms and click “Save” before leaving. It should solve your issue.

Hello Olivier
Thank you very much for your answer, it works!! I appreciate that I don’t have to wait until next week.
I have one more: How does the “Match %” work, see attachment.
Is there a menu position where I can see which members match my profile best?
How can I make a menu position “My Matches” on TopNav? Then it would show my matches?
Thanks

Olivier
why does nobody make good videos of all the functions of Gwnangi WITH AUDIO? Nobody speaks English at Themosaurus? 🙂
Gwangi is such a cool theme and has so many options…. You should really expand your Youtube channel…. tell your CEO….
It would really help….Thanks

Hi @brendan,
The matchmaking feature is added to your website with Match me for BuddyPress (https://wordpress.org/plugins/match-me-for-buddypress/). Match percentage is calculated based on number of matching BuddyPress extend profile fields and weightage of each field can be configured from admin.
For more about this plugin setup, please read the following documentation:
Unfortunately, I don’t see a way to query members based on the best match and to my knowledge, there is no plugin that you could install to add this feature to your website. We think that this feature requires custom development work.
For one, we recommend you try to reach MeshPros and request a customization quote:These guys are the author of Match me for BuddyPress. So, they’ll be better informed and best suited to create this feature for you. Furthermore, they’ve quite a lot of experience with WordPress and BuddyPress development.
