    Hello,

We have received a customer request to implement a second vertical navbar in addition to the one that is already provided by the theme. Our initial thought was to clone the .grimlock-vertical-navigation element (if we can locate it), rename it, and then position and style it using CSS. Do you have any alternative solutions for achieving a second fixed navbar that overlays the header, preheader, and other elements, similar to how the .grimlock-vertical-navigation navbar functions? Alternatively, could you guide us to the specific PHP file where we can find this element so that we can create a clone?

P.S. Regarding your support service: the password reset system on your support forum is not functioning properly. It’s quite cumbersome to log in each time to submit a ticket. Could you please resolve this issue for those who have registered via Envato, or provide a way for us to set and save a password?

    Thank you.

    Hi Damaline,

Unfortunately, this feature is not available with BuddyPress and to our knowledge, there is no plugin that you could install to add this feature to your website. We think that this feature requires custom development work. In consequence, our recommendation is to hire a developer to do this job for you.

We got an amazing discount for our users with our partner Zipline, which can handle installation, customization, and mobile apps with your theme : https://ziplinecommunities.com/cera/?zl-affiliate=cera

Could you please provide us a screenshot to help us understand what you would like to achieve? Perhaps there is another solution that might suit your needs.

Concerning the login, please note that as you logged in with Envato, you have to continue this method.

    Best,

this is how it should turn out… taking on another dev specifically to do this single thing disorientates me a bit too much… in any case we will evaluate help… if you have other ideas or solutions to achieve even if only apparently this result this is a photomontage of how it should look. If you provide us with information about grimlock on the java that affects .grimlock-vertical-navigation and its php location we can try to create a copy of it.. but if there are other alternatives we are open to any solution..

    Hi Damaline,

I would recommand you to create two columns in your pages. For example, the first at 70% wide, the second to 30%. Then, you place all the blocks of your page in the first column. After that, you create something similar in the second column and you place it in a sticky position.

You can see an example in the first page of our Gorgo theme : https://classic.gorgo-theme.com/
As you can see, we placed the “Our Lovely Authors” block this way. But you can add more stuff as a menu, logo, …

    Hope this will help you.

Hi, We have adopted a solution similar to the one you propose by completely removing the visibility of the navbar (we use the preheader stick as the navbar so we can better customize the contained elements) and therefore we have made the buddy sidbars stiky (on appearance->widgets-> buddy left and buddy right) but by doing this we noticed a bug in the assignment of the IDs to the buddy sidbars. Both Buddy Sidbar Right and Buddy Sidbar Left get the id “secondary-right”. Then at the display level the correct elements contained in the 2 widgets are displayed but, for other style settings, it could be problematic that these two elements get the same class id for aside. How can we intervene to fix this bug?

    Hi Damaline,

I’m glad to read you’ve been able to find a solution that suits your needs. 🙂

We’re sorry to read you’re facing this issue. It’s best if we take a quick look at this. Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the username and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.

I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.

    Thank you.
