Hello,
Our WordPress project is based on the CERA theme, and when it was created in 2019, we only used a parent theme and did not create a child theme.
Unfortunately, with theme updates, some modifications disappear, and certain configurations are difficult to set up (especially when adding code to files like “functions.php”, for example).
Is it possible to add a child theme without causing any issues in the production environment?
What advice can you give us on what to do?
