Hi there – it’s me again 🙂
Comparing the two Buddypress Preferences the question arises why SiteDirectory is missing on my end?
And why can’t I tick the BuddyPress Core and Community Members (Mitglieder in German) modules and are they really active?
I also can not find my sites/network admin/settings or don’t I need this?
At the moment my registration is not working.
Thanks
Cheers,

Hi Andreas,
We hope you’re fine ?
1) This setting is only available for multisite server. When creating a WordPress website network instead of creating a single site, some setting might differ.
Our demos have the same setting as your website. You don’t need to worry much as these missing settings are not mandatory for website to work properly.
For more about WordPress networks, please read the following post:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network2) Yes, these two BuddyPress components are always active and can’t be deactivated. Otherwise, BP doesn’t work.
3) No, you don’t need it. This setting page is only available when using a WordPress networks.
4) Your registration page is not displaying or not working properly? Do you use a plugin to hide pages from unregistered users like “Coming Soon” or “Maintenance”? Maybe this is hiding your page from you. You can only see it when logged out.

Hi there
Thanks for 1-3.
Regarding 4 I have a maintenance site, but I have deactivated it now to test it. Nevertheless, when I have it activated, I can still test it when running the preview function in WordPress.
Currently, when I click on the profile icon on the top right, I can choose from login or register. If I click on register the according register view with fields appear. When I complete this, it redirects me to the https://basic.gwangi-theme.com/register/ site saying that I have successfully registered……when I click on the login button on the same site it redirects me to https://basic.gwangi-theme.com/login/. Why doesn’t it stay on my site? Why do I have to do so many adjustments on the theme such as this?
If I click on login in the profile icon and from my homepage, the WordPress login site appears.
Please advise.
Thanks

Hi Andreas,
We’re sorry for your inconvenience.
For an unknown reason, WP Import mistakenly keep track of the Basic demo URL after its process for your register page. This link should point to your website and not to our demo.
To change this, just display the menu panel Screen Options tab and check the BuddyPress box. You will then be able to add BP menu items to your menusFirst, you need to remove the wrongly imported links. Then, you need to add the correct BP menu items and save your menu.
Please note that these changes have been already applied to your site. Can you test and confirm us that we solved your issue?
Cheers

For an improved user experience on our demo, we use Login With Ajax (https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-with-ajax/) to create the login form.
To reproduce the same behaviour, please make sure this plugin is installed on your server and then, read the following tutorial to find how to setup your login form:
