    I installed the child theme with the demo, but the categories are nonexistent on the “community-posts” page as the original theme.

    Hi Mohammad,

    By changing the theme (even for a child theme) the customizer options are reseted.

    To customize the posts page, go to Customize > Posts > Posts page and select the right options in the General and Layout page.
