Hi,
I am creating a site for Russian speakers and managed to load the Russian BuddyPress where it shows almost everything in Russian.
But the field above the profile fields such as username is only accepting latin letters. So my questions are:
1) can I make it accept Cyrillic letters for username?
2) if not, how can I notify users, or how can I change the text in that field, to say it needs to be latin?Thanks

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Unfortunately, Cyrillic characters don’t seem to be allowed in WordPress usernames…
