We have discovered that the profile information fields—such as date of birth—are partially missing on the member registration screen.
It appears that these fields should be managed through BuddyPress, which helps handle user registration. However, it seems that the current version of BuddyPress is not fully compatible with the Gorgo theme we purchased.
While BuddyPress was updated just three weeks ago, it looks like the Gorgo theme has not received relevant updates in over a year.
Due to this mismatch, we are unable to proceed with full member registration functionality.Could you please provide a fix for this issue or suggest a viable workaround?
We would appreciate your prompt support on this matter.

Hi Kim,
Can you make sure that you’ve marked these fields as “Required” please?
I think the following posts might help you:
I’m happy to confirm that Gorgo is fully compatible with the latest version of BuddyPress. The theme has reached a mature, stable state. Its core functionality remains robust and reliable. While Gorgo requires fewer updates than newer themes, our top priority is ensuring long‑term stability and compatibility. Should any important changes be needed in the future, we’ll release updates to keep everything running smoothly.
Moreover, we developed some additional plugins (Grimlock for BuddyPress, Grimlock for the Events Calendar, etc). We didn’t choose to make all the style in the theme to keep it light. Each plugin needs his Grimlock plugin to be compatible with the theme. For exemple: if you don’t want to use BuddyPress, you don’t need the style of BuddyPress. Some theme authors include this style directly in the theme, we don’t. This would have slowed down your website, this is why we choose to work differently and include this style in a plugin. To apply the theme styles to BuddyPress, you need to install Grimlock for BuddyPress. Which has been updated recently.
Please also be aware that it’s more complicated than that, but I tried to explain you as clear as possible how to get started with improving your website performances.
I really hope this will help you better understand how our theme works. Let me know if you need more explanations. 🙂
Kind regards,

Dear Manathan,
Regarding the Gorgo & BuddyPress compatibility issue, we’ve already installed Grimlock for BuddyPress and successfully reset all BuddyPress slugs to their default settings.
We would like our site to appear exactly as shown in the theme demo we purchased.
Could you please provide specific guidance or steps we should follow to achieve the same appearance as the original theme?Thank you for your support.

Hi Kim,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
Could you please confirm whether you ran the theme setup when you installed our theme? If not, I recommend resetting your WordPress database using WP Reset (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/) to start fresh with our setup wizard.
By relaunching the setup wizard, the theme will automatically configure all the styles and settings for you. Note that not all content will be imported (such as users, groups, etc.) since you’ll have your own, but once you add your content, everything should display like the demo of your choice.
Regards,
