Hi,
First of all, a great thnaks for creating such an awesome theme. I have completed all the basic setup and its up and running. Now I wanted to do the below customizations and need help :
1) When I send a friend request to someone, where/ How can I see in my profile as the “Sent request”? I have the tabs for friends and pending request, but no-where to see the request that I have sent?
2) Since I am making a matrimony site, I wanted to change the label of “Friends” to “Interests” ? How do I do it ? Also for the icons for friend, I need to show the text as “Interest” and for add friend icon, I need to show text “Send Interest” .
How to achieve this ?3) I have the phone number, email id of the person, but it should be shown only to the “Accepted interest” ie “Friends” of the member, how can I achieve it, so that any non-friend or pending friend request DO NOT see my contact details.
4) Being a matrimony site, I need to create a photo album for the user, so that user can upload max 10 images? How do I achieve this?
5) For the “Input text area” fields, how can I limit the number of words to say 500 words only. currently the user can input any amount of words or any length content, which I want to restrict.
Please reply in details.

If your issue is with the wording of some strings shown on the member profiles, the best solution is to translate WordPress, BuddyPress and Gwangi in your native language and change their meaning. Simply change the language settings in your general settings and most of the required translations will download themselves on your website. Then, you can translate Gwangi or change the translated strings to your own wording to better fit the needs of your website.

Well, this is not acceptable. NOT all the questions are buddypress edits, but one 1 or 2 , all others are purely related to your theme. You should provide me answers in details.

1. There is no “Sent request” tab in BuddyPress and unfortunately we don’t know any plugin or code snippet that might help you.
2. If you want to change the texts within BuddyPress (to replace “friend” with “interest” for example), or change text within any other plugin/theme, here is an article that should guide you through the steps to achieve that with the Loco Translate plugin: https://danielsantoro.com/using-loco-translate-change-wordpress-strings/
3. To change the privacy of your profile fields, from the admin go to Users > Profile Fields and click “Edit” on the field of your choice. You should then see a “Visibility” box on the right and should be able to change it to “My Friends”.
4. We recommend that you use the rtMedia plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-media/) along with the rtMedia Restriction addon (https://rtmedia.io/products/rtmedia-restrictions/) to achieve that.
