Do not see the check box I saw on a screenshot (attached) I saw looking through the forum.
Hi Rene,
This box is not available anymore as Gwangi theme is fully compatible with Elementor.
Once the demo is imported, you will need to download Elementor and install it on your website to proceed to the next steps. Note that all pages were created with Gutenberg during the theme setup. After importing the demo, you’ll need to remove the right pages and replace them with Elementor template import. We have written an article in our documentation about this: Installing the Elementor Demo Version Manually.

Thanks for your prompt reply! I actually found the documentation on this earlier that day! (I try to do research before asking questions so that you guys don’t waste your time)
I found that it does work with elementor, but when I replaced the home page, the search bar and a couple other blocks disappeared. Anyways, I opted to do a reset and edit the theme the way it was intended. The only thing I wanted elementor for was their feature to hide elements when going from desktop to mobile.

I completely understand. Don’t hesitate to share screenshots with us of where exactly some elements are missing and we’ll fix them in the next update.
However, I think you did the right thing by choosing Gutenberg as this editor is really smooth and more user friendly. 🙂
