Hi Adam,
Great news if you’ve found how to solve your previous issue! We hope other topics have helped you well.
So, regarding the widgets going “out of bounds”, did you intentionally add section widgets to your right sidebar? If so, it will not work properly as section widgets are meant to use inside your homepage template or similar.
However, if your goal is to add the BP Profile Search widget to display a form like in our demo, you will first need to override you sidebar with Easy Custom Sidebars. Please make sure this plugin is activated and then you will be able to create the “BuddyPress Directory” custom widget area to replace the “Sidebar 2” widget area in your Members page. You can find out how to do add a custom sidebar by checking out this article of our documentation:
The process to create a widgetized page is fairly similar so the following post will also help you:
Finally, the following topics might also provide you missing bits of info as they reply to a similar issue:
We hope this helps. ?

Hi Adam,
Can you tell us what missing exactly? From what we understood, you should have been able to gather all information required to override the right sidebar (sidebar 2) with Easy Custom Sidebars and add your widget in it.
Or maybe, you can also grant us access to you dashboard to let us see what’s missing exactly. Could create a new user with admin role for us and post a private reply with its name and password please ?
Thank you very much your reply.
Best regards,
