Hi @surya1,
Unfortunately, there is no frontend admin plugin currently supported to provide this feature to your website. Some free plugins exist to do such a thing but neither of those have been tested or integrated with our product. You might require extra customization work if you wish to make them fit perfectly with your website.
If you wish to allow frontend publishing, I suggest that you download and activate Social Articles:
It is supported by your theme and will turn your website into a social blogging platform/intranet.

Thanks for that, Oliver!
But I am not particularly looking to create an intranet. So here’s my requirement for more context:
– Create a new user role called “community admin”
– Only Community admins can create knowledge base articles, new documents, and new topics. Other members can view these posts
– Community admins however cannot create new pages and customize themeSo community admins need a restricted backend version of WP to do specific tasks yet not have full access to the website backend.
I am sure there’s a plugin to do this perhaps?

Hi @surya1,
To edit the WP roles or add new ones like “Community Admins”, User Role Editor seems to be the best solution around:
However, this plugin has not been tested with our theme but it should work fine as it mainly act on your WP admin.
Maybe these topics will also help you to solve your issue as they address WP role management and they might give you a better grasp on the subject:

Finally, please note that you could also apply styles to your WP admin to make it fit your frontend. In the case, your community admins might access a restricted part of your backend (almost) without noticing it.
For more about this, please read also:This is pretty advanced and will require custom coding.
