I can hide the menu for non-signed in members. But when I do this, it also hides for members, even though I have this checked correctly in the menus.
Is there a way to hide the side menu and only appear for logged in users?
There must be a simple way to do this. I don’t want anyone without membership access to be able to navigate around the memberships system.

Hi Ben,
Just to be sure, can you please tell me which menu are you talking about? Could you provide us with screenshots of your website please? Please don’t hesitate to comment or highlight your screenshots to help us better understand your issue.
Thank you.

Hi Ben,
Thank you for sharing this screenshot with us.
If I’m not mistaken, you’re referring to the Logged in menu and Logged out menu in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus. If it’s the case, I’m afraid you’re using this feature incorrectly.
This feature allows you to create two menu that will be displayed under the profile link on the top right of your screen. Please find the attached screenshots.
Note that to make the logged out menu visible (once it is created), you have to uncheck the “Display login and register buttons in the navbar” in Customize > Appearance > Login.
Hope this will help you better understand how it works.
Best,

Hi Ben,
Sorry for the late reply. We’re experiencing a much larger number of requests than usual so our wait times are longer than expected. We’re working hard to get back to you as quickly as we can and we really appreciate your patience!
This is standard behavior with our theme, I’m afraid. As this is not breaking the website, changing this is considered customization work. Unfortunately, this is a service that we do not provide.
We only share snippet only to solve issues with our theme. Any further request for CSS snippets will have to be part of a defect that needs to be fixed urgently. No snippets will be shared otherwise.
If you want to go further with the customization of your website, we advise that you hire a freelancer to do it for you.
If you’re on a tight budget, we recommend you to require the services from Envato Studio freelancers (https://studio.envato.com/explore/websites-programming). This web platform gives you access to developers who have already experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.
Thank you for your understanding.
