As you can see in my screenshots the group doesn’t have an image. Where do i set it up? I can’t find it. I tried adding a default group cover but that doesn’t show up either.

You should be able to edit the image in Customize > bbPress > Style.
Let me know if you were able to change the image there.

Customize > bbPress > Style is for Forums image. I am talking about groups. Every single group should be able to have its own image, like on your demo. See screenshot. In my case the image show up black and there is no field (or at least i can’t find it) to set one. You have the log in details. Check out for yourself.
You’re right, I’m sorry Debora. I was too quick.
The groups page image should reuse the default Header image. It’s odd that no image is displayed. In that case, it’s best if we take a quick look at this. Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.
Concerning the fact that no image is displayed in a group page, could you please make sure the Group Photo and Group Cover Image features are checked in Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > Options?

Regarding the first issue, I see that you did import a header image. However, it appears that this default header image was not selected.
When importing an image, it is automatically selected. Perhaps you unselected it without paying attention. Either way, I just clicked on the image to select it and everything works fine. 🙂
