I installed the dark demo. but I am not happy with it. I would reather have the light theme but have no option to switch back.
I have restarted the theme installation and chosen the light theme instead of the dark, with no results.
I have installed the Grimlock Dark Theme plugin, and still can not switch from dark to light or back.Thank you

To install another demo, we really suggest you to reset your WordPress database using WP Reset (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/) and start fresh with our setup wizard.
Then, all should work fine. 🙂

WP-Reset is not an option. Last time I used this (on another theme that didn’t work as expected) I was unable to recover anything because it corrupted the database.
And, respectfully, support should include more than, uninstall and reinstall suggestions. That is low tier support. At a minimum create a bug report and investigate the reason your plugins do not perform as expected.

If I understand correctly, you’re facing an issue because you’re installing a new demo on an existing demo that you imported previously. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite work that way, regardless of the theme. 🙁
I understand that you might be hesitant to use the WP Reset plugin due to a past issue with it. However, to install a demo, it’s best to do it on a fresh installation. Another solution might be to create a fresh install on your server. If you prefer not to do that either, you can start the theme setup again as you did before. However, there are some steps you might need to do manually since your site will not be “clean.” In that case, report any visual issues you encounter that don’t match the demo, and we’ll help you set everything up by explaining how to do it manually.
Concerning this point:
At a minimum create a bug report and investigate the reason your plugins do not perform as expected.
Are you referring to the Grimlock Dark Mode plugin? In that case, rest assured it is working. However, since you installed a demo that doesn’t include this feature, the settings for Grimlock Dark Mode were not imported. You can make it work, but you’ll need to manually complete the settings in Customize > Dark Mode.
