I get whitescreen of death when installing grimlock on my site. It seems to install okay when youzer is not added. however the website looks very broken after going through the installtion wizard) and nothing like the demo (header is not correct css styling is all messed up etc).
Youzer works just as it should when using one of the standrd themes and just buddypress plugin installed aswell.
Another thing observation is that if I try to add youzer after going through the theme installation process I get “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

Hi @james,
We’re very sorry for the trouble that you’ve been experiencing.
To help us getting clues and find a solution to this issue, please activate logging on your website, just turn WP_DEBUG to true, by pasting the following code lines in your wp-config.php file, just before the line that says ‘That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging.’:
// Enable WP_DEBUG mode define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); // Disable display of errors and warnings define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false ); @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );
More on this in the following topic: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
Then, you can try to reactivate both plugins and generate the error. WordPress will create a log file on your server that you will be able to share with us.
Thank you.
