Hello! I would like to know if you have to activate any special option so that when you click on the author box of an individual post you will be taken to the BuddyPress profile.
As it stands, the links do not lead to any site, only to the domain of the site itself, or when clicking on the author’s photo or when clicking on “all articles by this author”.
Thanks for the help!February 7, 2020 at 01:10 #9752@themoceratops- 1 Topics

Hi @wpnovatos,
It is strange that your author links redirect to your homepage, as they should redirect to the author page showing a list of the author’s posts.
I don’t think this is an issue with the theme, as the author links work on our side. To give you an idea of how the author link should work, you can try to click it on our demo website:
https://community.gwangi-theme.com/the-untold-secret-to-mastering-community-in-just-3-days/This might be a permalink issue, so you can try to re-save your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks and then clicking “Save” to see if it fixes your author links.
If that doesn’t fix it, this might be a conflict with one of the plugins on your website. To find out, you can try to disable your plugins one by one until you find the culprit. If you decide to try that, please make sure to create a backup of your website before doing so.
If you finally manage to fix your author links, you can then try to create a redirection to your BuddyPress profiles by following this article:
Hope this helps!
Best regards,

Thanks for the reply Jason!
In the end I discovered that it is a consequence of the configuration of the “SecuPress” plugin. I have sent a support ticket to them so they can help me.
