Is there anyway to send a match alert to users? This would be an amazing feature to have on the site.

It would be indeed very nice, especially to keep user active on your website and to encourage them to start a conversation between each other.However, please note that your feature request is related with the improvement of Match Me for BuddyPress (https://wordpress.org/plugins/match-me-for-buddypress/), not our theme. As theme authors, feature development for third party plugins isn’t part of the support we will provide.
