So in the Navigation area there is a checkbox that says “Display Vertical Navigation for logged out users”. When I uncheck this, the top menu only displays the Logo and search bar, but nothing from the menu itself.
What’s funny is that they exist when you find them with the mouse and click on them, but they don’t appear by themselves.

We can’t reproduce this issue. Will it be possible to test this on your site ? Do you have a staging environment ? Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.

Thank you Rene, but it seems I cannot access the website without logging in. However, in order to investigate, I need to view the website as a visitor. Could you make this staging site visible for non-logged in users, please ?

I switched back to the parent theme and didn’t experience the issue, so it seems that this problem is caused by the custom development in your child theme. I suspect that one of the custom snippets you added might be interfering with the functionality. I recommend removing your snippet one by one to identify the culprit.
