Good Friday.
I am building a website based on two different membership roles with Gwangy Dating, and Paid Membership Pro, with the Addon “Roles for Membership Levels”, that creates a role with each membership level.
When I edit the Gwangy home with Elementor, Grimlock Authors Avatar shows me in the Query the new two roles to select, in order to show the profiles with these roles on the homepage. But, when I select them in order to watch the avatars with those roles, I just see on homepage “No users found.” (Those roles have the same capabilities than subscribers).
If I change my users to Subscriber, for example, and I select on the Query to watch Subscriber Avatars, Grimlock works and finds perfectly those profiles and shows them.
Can you help me to fix that? I would love that the website recognize those new roles. Any role! 🙂
PD. I don’t speak a very good English. I hope to be understood with this explanation.
Thanks so much.May 22, 2020 at 18:42 #13004@themosaurusrex- 0 Topics

Hi @germanretu,
Thank you for reaching out!
My understanding is that your roles offers the same capabilities as the Subscriber role but you actually don’t confirm that users have been assigned this role. You must have users with that specific role in your database if you wish to display them in your query result, even if they have similar capabilities to other roles.
This might probably solve this issue for you. Otherwise, it’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors because this issue is related with Author Avatars List, not our theme. Grimlock for Author Avatars List and Elementor will only display the shortcode creating the query but the query mechanics are managed by this third party plugin.
They will be more informed and better suited to help you. To go further, we invite you to post your request on their support forums:
