Hi,
Our server cannot connect to the updates server and fetch the metadata JSON file:
[24-Jun-2020 06:40:00 UTC] PHP Warning: The URL http://files.themosaurus.com/grimlock/version.json?installed_version=1.3.2&php=7.0.33-1~dotdeb+8.1&locale=en_GB&checking_for_updates=1 does not point to a valid metadata file. WP HTTP Error: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds in /home/257098.cloudwaysapps.com/vxumyxrjkr/public_html/wp-content/plugins/grimlock-animate/libs/plugin-update-checker/Puc/v4p8/UpdateChecker.php on line 400
I can get the fetch the file in my browser, but I cannot from our server.
Our hosting provider support team said: “It seems to the server hosting the requested resource is somehow blocking server’s request (best guess)”
Is there anything you can check your end for this?
Let me know if I can pass on the server’s IP address privately.
Also related is that when this request fails, the plugin page returns a success message along the lines of ‘Your plugin is up to date’ when it is out of date.
Thanks.

Hi @sjregan,
My best guess is that your issue might probably caused by corrupt file from our plugin or some server misconfiguration as we don’t encounter this issue with our demos, nor with any other customer websites.
Could you download and manually install the latest version from Grimlock (v 1.3.3)? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please? You can find it by following this link:
