I’m currently working on offering two pricing plans on the site: one free and one paid.
What features can I limit for the users to upgrade to a paid plan? Like member profile? or search or other ways?

That a very interesting question. However, it’s difficult for us to give the perfect answer because it depends from your business model. The easiest solution is to restrict access to the pages that people will look for and will agree to pay for. Usually, people tend to restrict access to the user profile pages, to the group pages, the private messaging feature or to the (advanced) search engine.
Our advice is to look for websites similar to yours and see what their pricing plans are offering as free and premium features. This should give you some new ideas. ?

And to set-up these: restrict access to the user profile pages, to the group pages, the private messaging feature or to the (advanced) search engine would need the WooCommerce Subscriptions and WooCommerce Memberships right? or is this this one Paid Memberships PRO?

You’re welcome.
Both solution should be fine. Although, Paid Memberships Pro has a free version and seems to have more options and more add-on, thus making it the more flexible solution. We would go for this one.
