When signing up, a new user is given a message saying that a registration email has been sent to the user. However, the emails are not arriving at the users’ email Inbox (nor Spam box). A week ago, an email did arrive in a test user’s email but not now. I have tried resending emails from the Dashboard and tried with numerous email account but to no avail – no emails arrive.
Can you help to fix this problem?
Cheers.

Hi @elsades,
We’re very sorry for your inconvenience. It’s indeed very strange to note that your server is not sending emails anymore…
We do not make any changes to BuddyPress core emails in our theme or plugins. So, this issue has to come from elsewhere. Usually, this issue can occur when your activation or registration email is either not send by your server -for instance, when mailing services are incorrectly set- or not received by your registering user because of his mail client spam filter.
To help you to solve your issue, you might also be interested by the following BuddyPress support forum topics:

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-not-sending-emails/This issue may also come from:
– Hosting misconfiguration (most probable)
– Mail sending plugins such as Mailchimp for WordPress
– Custom development that can interfere with WordPress mail sending features
– A mail client unable to interpret misspelled HTML
– Bug due to the new BuddyPress update (very improbable)Unfortunately, the installation, setting or debugging of third party plugins and hosting server misconfigurations isn’t part of the support we will provide for our theme.
To go further, we invite you to ask for more help from your server hosting support.
We believe that they’ll be better informed and more able to help you.
