    I have problems with the translation of some strings. I am translating with Loco translator and it shows me that the strings are translated but no changes are reflected on the page.

    How do I find these strings to translate manually?

    Hi Tayronasoft,

    Here is more information about these two strings to translate:

    Posted On
    This string is displayed by our Grimlock plugin. So we have to translate this string via Locotranslate by creating a new translation for this plugin (and not by the theme)

    What’s new
    This string is directly displayed by the BuddyPress plugin. You should be able to find it in the translation file of this plugin (see screenshots)

    I’m still having trouble with this chain. The word appears correctly translated but when checking the page it is still the same without translating exactly that string.

    I already deleted the page cache and the browser cache but I still have this problem.

    What could it be? I thank you for your collaboration. Thanks.

    Hi Tayronasoft,

    That’s strange, everything seems to be translated correctly.

    I made a test on our demo, but all is working fine. Please find the attached screenshots. Can you make sure that your host doesn’t have a cache feature? In that case, you might need to clear it as well.

    The host does not have a chache function. Any other solution?

    I tested with Loco Translate in case this plugin might have an issue, but all is working fine. Could you create a new file to translate and try to translate only this string?

    In case this issue still occurs, I’m afraid, we have no other clue. At this point, as this question is related with BuddyPress translation, it’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you.
