Hi,
I’m unable to edit the info in the widget circled below through Elementor. It lets me edit the heading but not the body.
This might be a small code adjustment but how do I get ” community events” underlined in white? (like the Demo). If you need me to create a new topic for this just let me know 🙂
Thank you
Regards

Hi Mahtab, 🙂
The “Find People Near You” and “Let’s Make Dating More Human & More Simple” section of our demos are made with WordPress navigation menus. To edit this menu, you have to select the “Feature – homepage” menu in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus.
You can change the text displayed by editing the description. If the description text area isn’t visible, please review your screen options, at the top right of your screen. More on this in the following video tutorial:
In the case you want to change the colors or the icons for this menu, please read the following topic:
https://support.themosaurus.com/forums/topic/colours-in-the-featured-homepage-menu/Concerning the underline, my best guess is that your issue might probably caused by some extra code snippet as we don’t encounter this issue with our demos.
Could you deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom snippets please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please?
Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further.
Best,

Hi Manathan,
Can you please let me know what Plugins are required for the Dating theme? In trying to resolve the demo issue I manually the majority of what was listed on the Evanto market purchase page- so I most likely have some that are not required!
How can I update the Theme without losing all my modifications? (I’ve installed and activated the child theme).
Thanks!

Hi Mahtab,
Please find the attached screenshot. There are only 6 required plugins to make the Gwangi theme works fine. However, the use of the others plugins depends of the features you need.
As you did, you have to take a look at the bottom of the envato Gwangi theme page : https://themeforest.net/item/gwangi-dating-community-theme/21115855
You’ll see all the plugins compatible to our theme and the description. If you don’t need the feature described, you can deactivate the related plugin if it’s activated on your website. To update the theme, you just have to update the parent theme. For more about this, please click on the following link:

Hi Manathan,
Thanks a ton! Can you please screenshot and send me the rest that are required to make the website work like the dating theme demo? I tried to go back to the setup wizard to see if they would come up so I could delete the rest but unfortunately, it doesn’t show me the list as they are already installed! If there is a quicker way that you can suggest for me to achieve this I’d really appreciate it as I believe they are also making my website slow…….
Thanks again for all your help

You’re welcome Mahtab! 🙂
You have to let activated BuddyPress, Easy Custom Sidebar, Envato market, Grimlock, Grimlock for BuddyPress and Kirky toolkit. These are the required plugins. Then, you have the choice to deactivate or not the others. For exemple, if you don’t need the Forum feature, you can deactivate bbPress.
Unfortunately I can’t tell you which plugin you have to deactivate as the use of the others plugins depends of the features you need on your website.

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for the response! I totally understand, I want my website to reflect the demo.
So does that mean that the dating app demo has All those plugins activated? I’m interested in knowing which plugins the demo has activated. Thanks again,

Hi Mahtab,
All the plugins suggested are activated on our demo. If you want the exact same content, we suggest you to activate all the plugins.
Note that once you installed everything, you can disable some plugins if, after reflexion, some feature are not needed for your use. 🙂
