I recently got hit with a large spam flood and I can’t find the users that made accounts in the users area e.g example.com/wp-admin/users.php
I know the users exist but I have to remove them manually by deleting each account via there profiles any fix for this?September 10, 2022 at 07:37 #42553@roboraptor- 0 Topics

Hi Eric,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
Be aware that this issue is related to the use of BuddyPress, not your theme.
I think this plugin might catch your attention: New User Approve.
This plugin allows you to validate manually all newly registered users. This way, the users can’t have access to your website without your approval. As this question is related with BuddyPress custom development, it’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you. To go further, we invite you to post your request on their support forums: buddypress.org/support.
We remain available for all support requests related with the use of your theme.

I found the issue, and it is a pain to fix x.x
what happened was it set the users to –no role for site– and now over 1k spam bots hit my site and I have to manually move them to a dump role so I can dump them..
Is there an SQL string I can try/use to just assign them all to the dump role?
