Hi guys! I created a widgetized page with the Homepage Template and in it I created a new sidebar to insert the widgets. However, in this Homepage Template you do not have a sidebar and i would like to insert an equal one that appears on the Profile Activities page. When I change the page layout for Sidebar Template Right my Widgets disappear.

Unfortunately, the Homepage Template only contains one widget area to replace the content of the page. No sidebar is available for this template.
Also, if you select override the Homepage widget area, your widgets will only be displayed if your page has either “Homepage Template” or “Homepage Template: Minimal”, which doesn’t display the custom header.
However, you can still repeat the process and override the Sidebar 1 (or 2) widget area to display your side widgets. If your main content is plain text or shortcodes, this might do the trick.
If you wish to display the Homepage widget area and the Sidebar 1 (or 2) widget area, you will need to use a child theme and create your own page template.
You can easily do this by forking the provided gwangi-child theme.
