Up::0Hello! I’m attempting to create an accessible website with this theme. However, I noticed that the submenu is not accessible via Tab navigation. This makes it difficult for screen readers to access the sub-menu. Is there a way to fix this?
Additionally, I noticed that the skip to main content option wasn’t working and was wondering if there’s a way to fix that as well?
Thank you!

Sorry for my late response @themodactyl !
I’ve created the screenshots to further explain the issue. As you can see, our About Us tab on the Menu has a sub menu. However, when using tab on the keyboard to navigate, the sub-menu does not open. As we are attempting to design a website that has screen reader-friendly capabilities, we would prefer for the sub-menu to open on tab.
In the second screenshot, when navigating via tab, the first button to appear is a “Skip to Content” button. When clicking it, it refers to a main-content ID (in the URL you can see it added “/#main-content”) but it does not lead to the first heading. Instead, you have to skip over it. I’m not sure how to set it up to refer to the main content so that the button is functional?
Thank you!

Building a 100% accessible website is far from being an easy task. Unfortunately, it is possible that our theme is not. We can help you by improving some aspects of our theme as we update it, but it will never be perfect because it really depends on your content.
What you’re asking for is standard feature with our theme. As this is not breaking the page, changing this is considered customization work. Unfortunately, this is a service that we do not provide.
We only share snippet only to solve issues with our theme. Any further request for CSS snippets will have to be part of a defect that needs to be fixed urgently. No snippets will be shared otherwise.
If you want to go further with the customization of your website, we advise that you hire a freelancer to do it for you.
If you’re on a tight budget, we recommend you to require the services from Envato Studio freelancers (https://studio.envato.com/explore/websites-programming). This web platform gives you access to developers who have already experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.
If you have further questions or requests, feel free to create other forum topics. We remain available for all matters related with our theme!
We thank you for purchasing our theme and we hope it will meet your expectations. 🙂

Hi @haqq72,
Thank you for your feedback. After discussing your issues internally, we’ll investigate this further to find out if there are things that we can improve… We cannot disclose any date for the patching of the “Skip to Content” button but we will look for a way to improve this.
However, we’re not sure that we’ll be able to find a fix for the tab issue.
Please note that I took the liberty to move this topic to our Feature Requests forum, as solving this could be a nice addition to our theme.
We’ll keep you informed. Thank you very much for contributing to this theme!
Best regards,
