Hi,
How do we add a checkbox on the login/register page and modal for terms and conditions/privacy policy acceptance before the user can proceed to sign up? Can this feature be added to the theme if it is not present somewhere already? This would very much be appreciated! 🙂
Thank you!

This user used the BuddyPress Simple Terms And Conditions plugin. However, this plugin is not yet compatible with our theme. Be sure we’re working on it!
Waiting the next update, you’ll find a CSS snippet to use to make this plugin fit correctly to the registration form.
If you have further questions or requests, feel free to create other forum topics.
We remain available for all matters related with our theme!

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your reply.
I have looked into the plugin, but the plugin has not been updated in 5 years and I am reluctant to use it. Would it be possible for you to add your own implementation in the theme? It would certainly be one of its best features and users would feel safer using it.

Hi Nifty,
Thank you for your feedback. We completely understand your reluctance.
Please note that the registration form is managed by BuddyPress. We remind you that a theme affects the presentation and visual style of your site, while plugins add all kinds of features and functionalities. As theme authors, we can’t create new features based on a plugin we did not developed.
We don’t have current plan to integrate another plugin to add Terms on register form. However, in case you find a plugin that might catch your attention, don’t hesitate to create a feature request about it. If this plugin seems interesting and other users upvote your request, be sure we’ll make it compatible with Gwangi Theme. 🙂
As this issue is related with BuddyPress, it’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you. Moreover, they may have a solution that we don’t yet know about. To go further, we invite you to post your request on their support forums: buddypress.org/support
We remain available for all support requests related with the use of your theme.
Thank you for your understanding.
