Hi,
I would like to have a advanced search field in the members swap page similar to members directory so that the user can key in his criteria and start the relevant swap. I tried this similar to what i did for members directory page but failed. your guidance would be much appreciated.
Hi @kalleshibg,
You should indeed be able to do that by following the same steps as for your members directory page:
– Create a new search form by going in Users > Profile Search and clicking “Add New”
– Add all the fields you need in your search form
– Make sure the settings on the right are like the attached screenshot
– Save your new search form
– Create a new widget area like you did for your members directory page, but this time for the member swap page instead (Appearance > Theme Sidebars)
– Add the “Profile Search” widget to this new widget area and select the search form you created earlierThat should do the trick.
