How to assign the default member tier to all new registrants of a WP role?
Example: default WP role is ‘pro’. PMP default (free) tier is called ‘pro).
Can PMP tier be associated automatically by defaut to the WP role? Or does it only get assigned upon manually being opted into by members?
For clarity: I wish to streamline PMP registration ‘member type’ to be assigned according to the opted into ‘wp user role’

Thanks for the suggestions.
Just reverted to a universal no membership tier, and only using PMP for upgrades – not using PMP as a ‘free tier’ option as initially intended.
Seems that WP roles are more suited to streamline direct from registration.
