Good afternoon! I can’t figure out how to generate an avatar from a custom field on the registration form.
I added a new field to the type “image” with the BuddyPress plugin, and i need it, so that the image was installed as an avatar for the profile.

Hi Vadim,
The Register page cannot be edited directly. However, you can create new member profile field and choose to display them in the registration form.
For more about this, please read the following post: Modifying the Registration Form. Also please sure that you either log out of your website or use the private navigation from your browser to view your changes you’ve made to this page.
I think this article might catch your attention: How to put avatar upload in registration?.
Please note that this issue is related to BuddyPress plugin. Don’t hesitate to reach BuddyPress team, they’ll be more informed and better suited to help you.
