Hi guys,
I use the Grimlock Navigation Menu Section element on the Homepage, just like in your demos, a menu with images through which I filter the members according to their passions.
When I access a box with a specific passion and redirect me to the Members Directory page, the bar at the top of the page that indicates which filters are used at that time no longer appears.
See these screenshots, please:https://prnt.sc/1191bmt
https://prnt.sc/1191dqtI noticed that it’s missing on your demos, too:
https://prnt.sc/1192pc3On my site I disabled the last installed plugins, I deleted the caches and more, but the problem still occurs.
I would appreciate it if you can help me with this, because I find this bar with filters very useful for members.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Kind regards,

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate that.
I’m sorry, I probably wasn’t very clear.
I didn’t refer to the filter button you pointed in your screenshot.
In my screenshot https://prnt.sc/1191dqt I tried to draw the missing top bar that was showing the filters used by the user.I thought it was a problem just for me and I wanted to take a screenshot from your demo to show you what I meant. But I haven’t found that top bar in your demos, too.
Sorry, I don’t know how to explain otherwise… It was a top bar showing the filters used in a slightly transparent black background. Please advise.
Thank you again!

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that your question was related to BP profile Search plugin. The plugin authors made change some features since the last update and I had to make sure from where this specific issue was coming from. Even if this plugin is compatible with our theme, we do not support this plugin. However, we’re doing our best to provide as much information as we can to our customers. Moreover, I was waiting for some answer from third party.
It seems the filters bar that displayed the active filters has been erase since the last update. Unfortunately, we have no clue how to display it again. It’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you.
To go further, we invite you to post your request on their support forums:
wordpress.org/support/plugin/bp-profile-search/I’m really sorry you had to wait this long. Be sure that if we have the answer to your questions we do our best to respond to you in no time. We remind you that we provide support only during belgian business hours : Monday to friday, from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CEST. Our response time can be up to 1 business day.

Hi Manathan,
I followed your advice and that helped me. I contacted the plugin author and, for the moment, my issue is solved.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know his answer in the hope that it might help you, too:Hi Michael,
The problem is in the filters template, located in:
/plugins/grimlock-buddypress/templates/members/bps-filters.php
It does no longer work after BP Profile Search 5.4, as explained in:
https://dontdream.it/bp-profile-search-5-4/
I suggest you contact the plugin authors so they can update their
template to the new structure. In the meantime, you have two options:
1) Rename the above mentioned file to something else, so the BP
Profile Search built-in template takes over.If the result is not good, try the second option:
2) Roll-back BP Profile Search to version 5.3.5, using:
As I understand, there is, in fact, an issue with the Grimlock BuddyPress plugin.
Maybe you take it into account for the next updates.Thank you again for your support!
Best!

Hi Michael,
We have just released a new update of Grimlock for BuddyPress. Updating this plugin to the latest version should fix this issue.
After the update, the problem should now be fixed. However, you might still be seeing the issue because your browser cache is showing you an older version of the page (browsers do that to load pages faster). To see that the issue is resolved you will need to empty your browser cache and reload the page. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you:
https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-clear-cache-2617980We thank you for your patience. 🙂
Kindest regards,
