I’m trying to update the favicon through my functions page with the wp_head hook, I have used it with my past themes. Can you please let me know what the issue is?

    Hi Christian,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please be aware that you can easily change the favicon through the customizer, without using a php snippet. To change the favicon, please go to Customize > Site Identity > Icon and select an image of at least 512px. Please find the attached screenshot.

Hope this will help you. 🙂

    Best,

    Hello,

Thank you for replying back, I unfortunately have to use a php snippet (many reasons). I want to know if you could tell me why your theme isn’t taking the snippet I have used above?

    Thanks
