Hi
I’ve tried to respond to previous related threads but they all seem to be closed. I’ve followed the instructions on the video, the applicable plugin is installed and active and I followed the subsequent instructions on https://doc.themosaurus.com/creating-custom-widget-areas/ to set up the Sidebar Replacement and replace Sidebar 2 with BuddyPress Sidebar. My issue is that I don’t see the created BuddyPress Sidebar for selection when I customise the theme as per the video. Is there something that needs to be added on the Theme Sidebars section to the BuddyPress Sidebar? All my screen options are checked and SideBar 2 replacement has been saved. Thanks

Hi @annae,
The plugin Easy Custom Sidebar (Appareance > Theme Sidebars) doesn’t work like that.
This plugin allows to create a new widget area (my new widget area) to replace an existing one (Sidebar 2 for example) according to a specific context (the page X, the hompage, etc.).What exactly do you want to achieve?

Hi
I’m trying to achieve what you demonstrate in this video but there is a missing step and I don’t know how to create it.

Hi @annae,
We have fixed your member view.
We simply created a new sidebar area to replace sidebar 2 in the context of the members page (tutorial : .
Then, we inserted a Profile Search Form widget referencing the right form (Search directory). To finish, we have disabled the automatic placement of the other forms in the members’ view.Hope this will solve your troubles :).
Best regards,
