Hi Max,
We’ve just check and the string is correctly found in the theme as well as in BuddyPress. (Please review the screenshot with the french translated form.)
So, if you’re looking to translate your website into a major spoken language (spanish, french, japanese, etc.), WordPress will download the translation kit shared by the community. You might not need to use the buddypress.pot
file unless you wish to implement a custom translation for some strings.
Simply go to your dashboard and navigate to “Settings > General”. Then, change the site language option and hit the “Save Changes” button.
If you’ve already done this or if it doesn’t resolve your issue, please make sure your theme and all your plugins are up-to-date.
To update your theme, you can download and install the Envato Market plugin (https://envato.com/market-plugin/) on your WordPress site.
Once the plugin is installed and activated, go to “Envato Market” in your admin menu and follow the instructions under “Activate Envato API Connection”.
When this is done, you will see your purchased themes under the “Themes” tab and you should be able to update your Gwangi theme from there by clicking the “Update available” button.
Regards,
