Hello,
I have some users signing up and they are not immediately placing a profile photo. I have uploaded the Buddypress Profile Completion plugin, so hopefully that will address that issue going forward.
But unfortunately, there are profiles that were created before I uploaded the plugin and that horrible default grey and white ‘mystery man’ photo appears. I have been searching for a plugin that would allow me to upload a placeholder until users upload their own photo, but have not found one.
Do you have any plugin recommendations, suggestions or “Additional CSS” code I can input that allows me to add a placeholder image that is more appealing?
Any guidance would be most appreciated. 🙂

Unfortunately, there is no plugin to my knowledge that I can recommend for that. To change the default avatar you will need to add custom code to your website.
