Please be aware that to reduce repetition in CSS, and improve powerful runtime effects like dark/light mode switching, we use variables to customize our theme. A color set in the customizer can be used in multiple places. This way, when you change a color to adapt the style of your website, all elements that use the same color will be adapted.
In your case, the color you wanna change is the background color in Customize > Posts > Posts Page > Item.
