Hello Themosaurus Guys ! How are you ?
I need to add a plugin of the type “our active members” but which in place of the active members, i need to display a common passion, for example “our sporitive members” (displays only the members who have check the box “sport” in their leisure time).
I want to display this search result in a page containing other information (texts and images), and not on a blank page that only displays this result.
The solution I found is to successfully create a members directory by modifying the filters (box checked “sport” in the formal “passion”).
Could I then display the result inside any other page ? (like the “meet our active members?” Plugin)
If yes, to create this search by checked criterion, is it essential to create a theme-child ? As indicated on this page:
Because, i found this page where Olivier told that there’s no need for child themes anymore :
https://support.themosaurus.com/forums/topic/where-is-the-dating-child-theme-https-dating-gwangi-theme-com/But if it’s true, how to Add more sort options to a Members directory (without breaking my parent theme during the next update) ?
It is a bit complicated, hope you understand that i want.
Thanks for your response,Thank you for your time and have a nice day 🙂

Hi @corvin14,
You should consider the following plugins to provide this feature before overriding your templates to create custom directories:
However, please note that neither of these plugins have been tested or integrated with our product. At this point, I really have no way to confirm that those will perfectly fit with our theme and BP Profile Search, but they should save you a lot of time and hassle.
You might require extra customization work also if you wish to make them fit perfectly with your website.
Best,
