Hi,
This night the new Grimlock Hero update caused a critical error on our website. Removing the plugin made the site accessible again.
Could you give us the old plugin so we can fix the site?

Thank you for reporting this issue.
Be aware that Grimlock Hero is a vestige and is not used anymore on our demo. However, we’ll investigate to solve this.
I highly suggest you to recreate a hero with a Grimlock Section. Our Grimlock Blocks/Sections have evolved and allow you to do the same things, perhaps more.
There are two possibilities:
- Use the Full Width : No Header template and recreate all the entire homepage with blocks, not widgets,
- Use the Homepage Template : Minimal to hide the custom header and create a new hero with a Grimlock Section,
- Download the previous version of Grimlock Hero here.
I really think the first solution is the best, but I leave it to you to make your choice. 🙂

We have just released a new update of Grimlock Hero. Updating this plugin to the latest version should fix this issue. 🙂
You can download the last version here: Grimlock Hero. After the update, the problem should now be fixed.
I’m afraid there is no video. However, in case you would like to remake your homepage with Gutenberg, you can copy-paste this in Gutenberg Editor. It will put in place all blocks used in the homepage of our Dating demo. Note that the pictures might not be displayed, you’ll have to change for your pictures and change your texts.

Hi John,
You have to make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. As well as Grimlock Hero, this plugin has to be updated to the last version.
Then, please clear all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.
Concerning Gutenberg, I added some screenshots to help you understand how to proceed in case you would like to remake the homepage with Gutenberg. Note that, in this case, Grimlock Hero will not be needed. You’ll just have to select the Full Width: No Header template. By using the code, all Grimlock Blocks will be in place, you’ll just have to edit the content.
