Hello! The customizer does not seem to be making the requested changes. I was using CSS to make changes, but I had to add “!important” to everything and am still unable to adjust things like hover colors. Beyond that, the font only displays correctly throughout when in the customizer, but when visiting the page, it shows various fonts, especially in the Grimlock posts sections. I don’t have any additional plugins, nor do I have CSS or JS combine or minify since I just started editing yesterday. I cached everything, including Kirki. Long story short, could you please help me fix the issue? Is there a style sheet in the child theme I should be adjusting? Thank you for your time! Please let me know what additional information you may need!

Hi Jer,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
It’s best if we take a quick look at this. Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I highly suggest you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.
Thank you.

Hi Jer Bear,
Thank you for ranting us access !
What would you like to achieve exactly ? I thought there might be a cache issue, but all is working fine on my side. Before using CSS, did you check the settings in the customizer? There are options to set the right font color, like the color used when hovering. Please find the attached screenshots.
Hope this will help you. 🙂

Hey there!
Thank you for solving the color problem! I somehow missed those settings! But the other issue is that the fonts are not displaying properly in live view. Oddly enough it’s on both sites I’m building using Themosaurus themes, (Gwangi and Gorgo) so I’m probably just doing something wrong. When I’m in the Customizer view, the fonts display correctly, but when on the live site, they display the wrong font, if that makes sense?
You can see the difference in random areas such as the meta data like author and dates as seen in the screenshots below and other items like the Log In or Sign Up buttons.
Thanks again for all your help and let me know if you need anything else regarding the font issue!

Hi Jer,
Glad to read your first issue is solved!
Concerning the second issue, my best guess is that your issue might probably be related to the cache, as we don’t encounter this issue with our demos.
Could you deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom PHP code snippets please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please?
Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.
Thank you.

Hi Manathan!
I deactivated any extra plugins and cleared the heck out of that cache! Unfortunately, the problem still exists. It’s strange because it only seems to affect random parts. The font I chose is the sans-serif, Montserrat, yet when I exit the customizer into live view, a serif font appears wherever it pleases like a jerk! (screenshots attached)
Sorry, I know this is a very vague issue that could be a wide variety of reasons, but any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

We found the issue Jer! Thank you for your patience.
It seems this issue is related to Kirki. Kirki team knows about it and it should be solved in the next update. Until this update, we found this solution :
Troubleshooting Kirki Plugin Error : Fonts don’t load correctly
We tried it on your website and all seems to work fine. Can you confirm me all is fixed on your side, please?
