Customize does not work – broken

    When I press customize, it bring me to a page that says “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    How do I submit a ticket here? I want to give my C Panel and WP Admin login credentials so it can be fixed, but Im not going to give it out in a public forum!

    Hi @analogmind,

    You can post your credentials in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us (“Set as private reply” checkbox).

    But first did you check this email? Could you paste its content here?
    It gives crucial information on which plugin may have caused the error and most importantly it helps to quickly restore the site.

    To help us getting clues and find a solution to this issue, please activate logging on your website, just turn WP_DEBUG to true, by pasting the following code lines in your wp-config.php file, just before the line that says ‘That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging.’:

    // Enable WP_DEBUG mode
    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

    Hi @analogmind,

    For test purposes, we have increased the memory (wp-config file) and the customizer now starts (even if it is extremely slow).
    This issue was probably caused by an insufficient memory allocation or a server misconfiguration.

    Finally, please note that this kind of issue is related with the server setting, not with the use of your theme. As theme authors, the installation, setting or debugging of third hosting servers isn’t part of the support we will provide.

    To go further, we invite you to ask for more help from your server hosting support.
    We believe that they’ll be better informed and more able to help you.
