The Verified Member plugins fits very well with my needs, however, I need community members to help out in the process of verifying members. I’m starting a community for individuals that has taken a special training or education. There is no way for us as admins to know everyone however we assume everyone is known to someone.

I’m visioning the following functionality. It does not have to be exactly this way though. A community member is registered. The user is presented with a number of community members and the question, “can you vouch for any of these members?”. This creates a motivation for users to upload profile picture for starters. The members that are presented with the newly registered users is ideally a set of members that has taken the education at the same school.

When admin views request for the verified badge they will also see if any users has vouched for them. I’m thinking, maybe the Matchpress plugin in collaboration with Verified Member can accomplish this. All in all, is this possible to accomplish?

    Hi thomasfbg,

Thank you for your great feedback. This looks like a nice idea but unfortunately, this is kind of outside the scope of both Verified Members for BuddyPress and MatchPress. Verified Members for BP will remain limited to display the “Verified” badge and we have chosen not add features like user role management.

If you want to go further, we advise that you hire a freelancer to do it for you.

If you’re on a tight budget, we recommend you to require the services from Envato Studio freelancers (https://studio.envato.com/explore/websites-programming). This web platform gives you access to developers who have already experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.

    Thank you for your understanding.
